Nan Moore provides many freehand designs to be worked in any size; they can be adjusted to fit different sizes of blocks and borders. She starts with simple shapes and shows how to develop them into more elaborate designs as needed for blocks, borders, or allover designs. One of my favorites is Leaves & Lattice, a combination of organic leaves and a geometric lattice. Other appealing designs include leaves, flowers, fish, hearts, dragonflies, bees, and butterflies. Her Double Triangles design would be perfect for a "modern" quilt. I think most quilters would, like myself, be inspired by No-Mark Quilting Designs to say "I can do that!"
