I am a sucker for blue and yellow quilts and also for sampler quilts. The cheerful blue and yellow caught my eye but as I looked through the book I could tell that this quilt would look great in a number of color combinations. I love sampler quilts and have made several but sometimes they have so many blocks they get very busy looking. I loved the nice clean look that this project has and the easy appliqué is a plus.
The book is written so this could be a fun block of the month. There are only 7 different blocks! I’m going to show it to my quilt group to see if they want to make it with me.
