I've been drawn to books with patterns that use lots of different fabrics lately - I think because I've found some fabrics I really love and have been looking for ways to feature them without having them blended together in a really scrappy quilt. This book has many patterns that allow a bunch of fabrics to stand out and are also quick and easy which is right up my alley. I love the cover quilt which is a good way to use a stack, plus who can resist posies? The Knotted Squares and Modern Mirrors use 2-1/2" strips and are geometric beauties. I'm auditioning fabrics in my mind already. This is a great book for those who don't have a lot of time but want to put together a fun, exciting quilt.
