I adore Oliver + S patterns, so I was really excited to see Liesl Gibson's first Oliver + S book. Instead of being clothing patterns, which is what I first expected, the book is focused on accessories and toys all done in the signature Oliver + S style. I absolutely adore the Puppet Theater, and the quilt pattern is a must-make as well. These patterns are really different without being impractical or fad-ish. The best part about this book for me as a mom is that it has such a wide age range. I don't have to worry about my daughter being too old for all the patterns by the time I get enough free time to actually sit down and sew for her!
