This book of kids’ patterns is just so charming. The photos are beautiful, and the projects are all very cute and made in eye-catching bright fabrics and felts. The book contains directions and templates for a variety of basic sewing projects for kids, as well as babies and tots. My favorite patterns are the blocks and the play balls. The blocks are stitched with raw, pinked edges showing, which makes the corners more square and makes them easier for little ones to grasp and chew. I plan to make several for my baby girl with alphabet appliqués on the sides and bells stuffed inside.
