I really enjoyed this book! I was immediately drawn to the modern styling and modern fabric choices presented throughout. As an inexperienced quilter I really enjoyed learning more about what a quilting bee actually is and how it works in a modern sense; all thanks to this day and age of the internet and how it connects people. It has actually inspired me to perhaps partake in such an activity someday. I also really liked learning about so many blocks and techniques in such a condensed manner, like a sneak peek to whet the appetite. I had thought traditional English Paper Piecing seemed daunting, but now I actually think it sounds a bit fun, as do all the techniques listed.
