John James combines the renowned quality of English needles with the 21st Century technology of Gold’nGlide™ coating. Needleworkers will love the way these needles glide through fabric and batting. 18K gold is used to gild the eyes for easier threading, fast stitching and less stress on your hands. Made in England. Threading needles can be tricky and frustrating, but not with big eye needles! The needle is the same length and diameter as regular quilting needles, but has an embroidery-sized eye for easier threading. This eye easily accommodates thicker, glazed hand quilting threads.
