I love the expertise, knowledge, and creativity of Yoko Saito. Her designs are works of art executed with the utmost care. Her books are exquisite displays of well-crafted projects and photo layouts that are exceptionally beautiful. This book is divided into five categories; Animals in the Zoo, Designs for Children, Her Favorite Things, Botanical Motifs, The Alphabet, and Borders & Repeatable Patterns. There is so much contained within the pages of the book to create a myriad of projects sure to please anyone as a gift or for yourself. I particularly love the Botanical Motifs. Included with the applique designs are twenty projects in all using applique motifs throughout the book. Particularly intriguing are the instructional settings for each project which are full of detail, and I also appreciate the applique basics from this very skilled author. I can't wait to dive into a project from this book!
