This is such a great resource for Quilters of all skill levels. It's a cute little hardcover book packed full of block ideas (including instructions on how to make them!) as well as 20 projects! There are even sections broken out for beginner blocks, simple blocks, and intermediate blocks, plus a handy quilting tools list and basic instructions from planning to binding and everything in between. As I flip through the book I have fun putting a "name to the face"; I recognize most of the blocks in the book and have seen them in quilts but didn't know their names until now. I also love that they show variations of most of the blocks so I can see where the original started, then how people took that block and morphed it into something new. It can help you see other blocks in a new light and get your creative juices flowing so that you can come up with variations of your own! Next time you put a block together wrong consider keeping it and making it a new "variation" of a block!!
