In this book Joan targets my favorite things with a pinpoint accuracy that is amazing: Small projects? Check! Seasonal fall/winter projects? Check! Wool projects? Check! Small, seasonal projects in wool? Check, check, check!!! She even shows one project displayed in a frame—something I’ve recently fallen in love with. I tell you it’s almost eerie how well she seems to know me.
My favorite projects are “Christmas Magic”--a placemat/napkin set with Santa and a primitive tree; “Stormy Autumn”--a table runner with pumpkins and fall leaves; and “Turkey Time”--featuring a couple turkeys and a cornucopia framed for display. The “Christmas Tyme Mittens” would work up quickly and be adorable as package ties that could then be hung on the tree. If you’re looking for some cute holiday ideas take a peek inside this book.
