Edyta Sitar begins Hop To It by describing how she pulls fabrics together for her appliqué quilts.  She describes her “Rule of Five” which she uses to select a small, medium and large scale print with a stripe and a polka dot in the mix.

Edyta then explains how to prepare a block kit and then the techniques for appliqué which include fusible, machine and hand.  She offers clear step by step photos for each method of appliqué.  With every block, you are given a color diagram for color placement, a gridded diagram for appliqué piece placement, and one more page of full sized templates already reversed for you.  Along with the 12 blocks given, there are multiple projects that include bed quilts, a wall hanging, a pillow, throw, table runner and pin cushion.
