I love log cabin quilts. It has always been my favorite quilt block so of course I perked up when I saw the new book I Love Log Cabins!
I have made many traditional log cabin quilts and love all of them. I like to see different block settings and variations and that is what this book is full of. My favorite quilts are scrappy. "Mi Casa" is my favorite quilt in the book. It is a scrappy log cabin with the blocks on point. I need to make one. There are also some courthouse step projects and other variations of the log cabin block. I think this book has a nice variety of quilts in it and are suitable for any skill level. Have I mentioned that I LOVE LOG CABINS?
