I’m a little obsessed with books by Pam and Nicky Lintott, and I’ve written reviews for several of their books. But I love everything about their books! The photography and projects are wonderful in each book! This is the follow up book to Jelly Roll Quilts, but there is a twist. Pam and Nicky held a Jelly Roll Challenge and opened submissions to their newest book to any quilters who designed a creative pattern using jelly rolls. This book has patterns from all of the Jelly Roll Challenge winners.
You will see a photo of the original winning quilts, but then Pam and Nicky also sew each quilt up with different fabrics. It’s neat to see how much fabric choice changes the look for a quilt! I had a great time reading through all of the entries and looking at the beautiful quilts. There is also a very informative general quilting section in the back of the book. Form and function—who could ask for more?
