If you love to travel (or love dreaming about traveling, as I do) and have an interest in applique, I would highly recommend this book. I love quick-and-easy fusible applique projects, and this book has fifty 6” square blocks that can be made with as much or as little detail in the applique as you desire. However, I always end up putting in more details with either machine applique or hand-embroidery methods. I love this book because I can choose to make these blocks 12” square, and then hang them up for display on my cute table stand to remind me of all the wonderful places in the world I would like to travel to someday. I also love this book because of the huge, detailed illustrations; it’s really great for visual learners such as myself who would rather follow graphic diagrams. Plus, the whole book is designed so nicely, and that is something I do look for when choosing books for my quilting library!
