In her usual delicate style, Barri Gaudet gathered together an array of gifts to make, ranging from easy to more complicated, from quick to somewhat time consuming. Wool work and embroidery are a constant throughout the book. Each project a delight to the eye and quite frankly, it is difficult to decide what to create next! I LOVE wool work. There is nothing better than to sink a brand new, sharp needle into the lush soft textures of wool.
This book features a spring look, so most of the projects are presented in lovely pastels for a soft, brighter look in wool. It’s a nice balance to the fall and holiday décor usually represented. Quilt a Gift is filled with projects that I would love to receive and give to others!
