I’m a lover of teeny tiny things as well as Japanese-influenced animal illustrations. Combine these things with embroidery and I’m your gal. While I’ve just started to embroider, I have a deep fondness for the craft and an admiration for those who do it well. What I love about this book is that each animal is so small, allowing me to start and finish very quickly. This way I can build up my skills as I go! Each page is full of absolutely adorable groupings of animals. There are a few cross stitch patterns throughout the book as well (cross stitch jellyfish and octopus?! I’m sold!). Choosing where to start will be a definite issue, but one I can overlook as I can’t wait to start using these designs everywhere. I think my giddy squeals become more and more warranted as I flip through the pages. I’m so thrilled they decided to translate this book into English (originally Japanese)!
