Botanical Beauty was such a fun group of theme oriented fabrics, and I enjoyed playing with them! Garden imagery in Garden in Blues is everywhere from flora to floating butterflies, and sheets of lattice to whimsical pebbles (which are my favorite). There are a couple of fabrics that are tone-on-tone, and with the pebbles, are great transitional choices when working with the stronger colored prints. There is the flower clusters that remind me of Queen Anne’s Lace or perhaps those lovely “wishes” we find in our yards born from dandelions.

Behind the Scenes at Connecting Threads: meet Jenna, the Catalog Manager
by Jennacatalog , fun 14 Comments »
Hi, I'm Jenna. I've been with Connecting Threads about 3-1/2 years now, and have the pleasure of designing and laying out the catalog. Some of my favorite things in the world are happy, bright and modern colors and designs. I was introduced to sewing when I was young, but I just started quilting when I got this job and have fallen in love with it.

Our new Quilter’s Candy Flannel Basics are so beautiful and the quality of flannel is second to none! Bubble Gum screams fun! Made from our new line of flannels, it is sure to please even the most hesitant online fabric purchaser. I can assure you it is truly wonderful! A perfect size for a cuddle on the couch, Bubble Gum is ideal for a child’s quilt or adult who just needs the legs kept warm.
Worked up in fabrics characterizing linen from the Neutral Love Collection, Textile Blocks rests its laurels on a manageable, yet modish design kept completely minimal by way of simple yet gracious lines. When nothing else is workable on your table, this little treasure is your answer.
Posy Parade is a collection of four different colored posies in a palette of grays to blues. The second inner border mimics the shape of the flower. Almost large enough for a double comforter, Posy Parade will be a wonderful addition to a room full of quilts. It’s soft in “color impact”, yet ready to make its own style statement.
