It looks like we're not the only ones who love a good modern quilt! Thanks to everyone for your comments on this giveaway, we had a lot of fun reading through some of your experiences and tips.

Using a random number generator, we have selected our winners.  The three people who will be taking home a copy of Sunday Morning Quilts are...

Have just started quilting and LOVE modern quilts! Have been looking for a copy of this book in our local stores to no avail!

I make modern quilts! My favorite tip is to use Clover glass head pins for accurate seams.

I started making quilts about 6 years ago. At first I saved scraps in a small container, then I purchased a larger container, Now I have a very large container for my scraps for my someday scrap quilt. This book would be wonderful.

Each of our winners has been contacted, and as soon as we hear back, we will send out their wonderful books! If you didn't win, but would like a copy of this book, click here: SUNDAY MORNING QUILTS

Happy Monday! Thank you so much for all of your comments on our Matsuri giveaway post. We had a blast reading through all of your comments, and really liked the ideas you had for projects using lawn.

Using a random number generator, we have selected our winners. As a reminder, each of our winners will receive a Fat Quarter sampler of our beautiful Matsuri lawn.

Our first winner is #19 - Mary Alice. Mary Alice's comment said:
I've used cotton lawn before, but not for a quilt. Just baby and little girl's clothes. I think it would be wonderful to make a delicate, feminine quilt using the beautiful Matsuri line.

Our next winner is #141 - Susan. Susan's comment said:
Have never used it before....I would use it for quilting of course!! and possibly for curtains in my bedroom....the colours are perfect for my colour scheme!!!

What fun project ideas! We've emailed both of our winners and will be sending their prizes out as soon as we hear back. If you didn't win, but would still like to buy some of this beautiful fabric, you can do so here: MATSURI

I'm really excited about our new 100% cotton lawn fabric, Matsuri; I think it makes a great addition to our classic quilting cotton.  When developing these fabrics, I was very mindful about the end projects that would be made, and did my best to create designs that would be beautiful in all applications of this fabric type.

Good morning and happy Monday to everyone!  We had a record-breaking 1,444 comments on our thread giveaway -- WOW!  Thank you so much to everyone who participated.  In honor of our new contest record, we decided that three winners just isn't enough -- we need five! We still only have one grand prize winner, but we now have four runner-ups. Hooray!

Now on to the exciting part...

Our grand prize winner is comment number 880 -- Bonnie.  Bonnie selected the Garden Thread Set as her prize.

It's a reeeeeally tough decision, but I think in the thread sets I'd have to go with the Essential Garden thread set . . . in individual spools, I guess I'd go with Surf and Fuchsia. They all look fantastic, though - I wish I could afford one of each!

Our runner-up winners are:

Comment number 1140 - Cathy Bremer.  Cathy will receive a spool of Calypso and Sweet Pink.
Oh, to choose only one set! My 98 year old MIL and I do a lot of QOV so I better pick Americana although I really love Woodland and Confections! And for the two favorites.....Calypso and Sweet Pink. Thank you.

Comment number 1068 - Anna Branch.  Anna will receive a spool of Goldenrod and Sprout.
Oh, boy, how do you choose just one set? I decided to be practical and choose the one that contained the colours I most use so that would be the Fauna. I love brown tones. For my spool choices, I went with my other love and chose the sprout and goldenrod. I really like citrus colours and use them a lot in my quilting.

Comment number 474 - Sandi.  Sandi will receive a spool of French Blue and Steel Blue.
I think the Rainbow Collection or is it the Farmer's Market? So difficult to choose. I love them all. Two singles would be the French Blue & Steel Blue. Thank you for the opportunity to win anything from Connecting Threads.

and last but not least...

Comment number 58 - Dana.  Dana will receive a spool of Sea Breeze and Custard.
That was hard, so many beautiful colors and I love your thread. I would pick the Confections (gorgeous) and Sea Breeze with Custard. Thanks.

Congratulations everyone!  If you weren't one of our winners, but would still like to purchase your favorite set, you can do so here: Thread Sets. Or, if you want to browse through our new colors, click here: Essential Thread.
