Botanical Beauty was such a fun group of theme oriented fabrics, and I enjoyed playing with them! Garden imagery in Garden in Blues is everywhere from flora to floating butterflies, and sheets of lattice to whimsical pebbles (which are my favorite). There are a couple of fabrics that are tone-on-tone, and with the pebbles, are great transitional choices when working with the stronger colored prints. There is the flower clusters that remind me of Queen Anne’s Lace or perhaps those lovely “wishes” we find in our yards born from dandelions.

I'm often inspired or have visions of patterns in my dreams, so when I wake I sketch them as to not forget them. Below is an example of me in inspiration mode:)
