I know Black Friday sales are a family tradition in some households that often involve long lists, road maps, and camping in parking lots, but I prefer to avoid the crowds and stay home on Black Friday. Now Cyber Monday sales, on the other hand, are more my style. I love the convenience of shopping from home (or even at work on my lunch break!). Now, we know not everyone can shop at work, so this year we're starting our Cyber Monday sale a day early, on Sunday 11/27/11 at 6 a.m. PST for all you early birds on the West Coast. Have you noticed how much fabric is packed into our Clearance section lately? With the Solid & Mirage closeout colors, it's over 200 fabrics! I think I throw some clearance fabric into every order I place because it's just so useful, and such a good deal! I thought I'd make a list of my favorite top uses of clearance fabric (not that you need any enabling when the price is that low).

I love the whimsy of Winter Fun and the retro feel of Wrap It Up, but to me Bed & Breakfast is the perfect winter collection. The rich, deep colors, sprigs of evergreen, and tiny berries are wintery without being too Christmas-y, but they still lend themselves to holiday decorating and sewn gifts.

Last year we sewed up a free pattern for cute gift card holders and a free wine bottle cozy pattern in Bed & Breakfast as gift ideas.

Starting today, one of my favorite fabrics went on sale.  The Antoinette line is a fun, vibrant fabric with some beautiful patterns.  Nothing makes me more excited than making (or receiving) a beautiful apron and this fabric is just ideal! 

Antoinette is most definitely our sweetest collection to-date.  Coordinating prints run from the palest yellow and pink to bright, vibrant fuchsia, lime green and dark periwinkle.  In addition to the cutest apron ever, this collection is perfect for a little girl's bedroom or to dress up your table for a tea party.
