I love the look of this sewing cabinet. I've moved to a smaller space and have no room for a large sewing table--this one is just the right size! I haven't been working on any projects due to the space constraints for a large folding table. I would like to get back into my quilting--finish all UFO in 2013 so that I can tackle some of the newer projects available. This cabinet would fit perfectly and give me the space to work on the UFO. I planned to make some stockings last weekend, to put small gifts and holiday treats in for friends and family, but I got a cold. This week, I decided it was not too late!  I downloaded the Connecting Threads' free pattern for Homespun Christmas Stockings and promised myself I would only use fabric from my stash.

My grandma Willie Ann, born in 1900, was an avid quilter who taught me to sew with a thimble as a small child back in Oklahoma.
