Happy Friday! We wanted to let you know about a beautiful tutorial post that our friend Stephanie over at Loft Creations has up right now. Using our new Matsuri lawn fabric, Stephanie has created a gorgeous infinity scarf. Her tutorial provides easy-to-follow instructions accompanied by several gorgeous pictures. As you may already know, cotton lawn is something of a hybrid fabric. It works for both quilting and garments. And let me tell you, it is SO soft! Here's a little look at the finished scarf:

It is so beautiful, and would be an absolutely gorgeous gift for a friend or loved one. To view the entire tutorial, click here: INFINITY SCARF

As soon as I saw Sarah Jane’s 3 Little Birds
Embroidery Pattern I fell in love with it; I knew this would make the perfect tea towel to
remind me to chase away the winter blues. Her pattern is inspired by Bob

happy, bouncing baby in my Johnny Jump Up.

Here Ye! Here Ye! Announcing a bran spanking new quilt along! We will construct a delightfully whimsical country scene of four barn blocks, four chicken blocks, four borders with a primitive tree, two sweet lambs and a simple fence and the final border made of triangles and stars. It is presented as sew-along lessons with reference photos to guide you through each technique. The Barn Block patterns are perfect in our brand new Saltbox Village collection, which we have chosen for our quilt sample. Come join our group "Barn Blog Quilt Along" on Quilt With Us--it will be fun!

One day I was sitting down for a meeting with our fearless leader,
Matt, and we were talking about sales and what quilters would want. He
asked me if quilters would ever just want a handful of really good books
at 50% off. My answer of course was “heck yeah!” and from that, this
sale was born. I started with a poll of the Connecting Threads
department to see what books they would recommend for quilters. From
there, Judy and I tried to “spread the wealth” and get books that would
suit beginners to experts and that touched on a variety of topics.
The following is a list of our 10 best picks for every quilter. The best part? Each of these books is 50% off until April 4th!
