A Delicious Giveaway!

I had so much fun designing the Just Desserts collection

I love to bake, and I love to eat sweets, so coming up with these images was easy as pie.  Ha!  The only downside was that drawing the yummy looking treats made me hungry!  One of my favorite Christmas traditions has always been to bake cookies to give as gifts for friends and loved ones.

Since Just Desserts is all about sweets, I thought that it would be great way to dress up my goodies by wrapping them in the bright and playful fabric.  Not only does the recipient get delicious goodies inside, they get a piece of fun fabric on the outside that they can reuse in any manner they wish. The size of your container will determine how much fabric you'll need, but really, a fat quarter will usually do the trick.  I decided to pink the edges so that the fabric wouldn't fray.  Just wrap your container and tie with a fun bow and gift tag.  Or, if you don't have a container to use, you can simply use a fat quarter and tie them up with just a bow.  So cute.

I got my inspiration from this free pattern: Fat Quarter Gift Idea Sheet.  So many fun ideas!

Because I know that holiday baking is something that many of you do, and because it is the season of giving, I thought, what better than to giveaway two fat quarter samplers of this yummy collection!  All you need to do to enter is leave me a comment by 11:59pm on December 11th telling me what you love to bake most.  We will pick our lucky winners on Monday, December 12th.  Good luck!

I make a mean cracker jack. It gets baked for 2 hours, stirring every 15 mins. I'm not much for pie, or cake baking, even before diagnosed with gluten intolerance. And a handful of fresh cracker jack, can make you forget ...your own name! YUM!
