Do you like simple, quick projects that use charms? If so, then this book, 3 Times the Charm! by Barbara Groves & Mary Jacobson, would be a good addition to your library.
The authors (from Me & My Sister Designs) show how the use of a pre-cut charm pack (or cut your own 5” squares from your stash) along with a small amount of additional yardage can make a delightful little quilt. There are seven designs but wait, Barbara & Mary have shown each design in three different color options with 21 unique looks!
Shown here is an example of what you will see in this book.
This is Dora with two additional options, the quilt measures 30-1/2” x 30-1/2” and uses 25 assorted charm squares. It would be perfect as a baby quilt, a table topper, or a wall hanging. It all depends on the choice of fabric!

I love the 5" squares, they are easy to use and so many quick projects can be done with them.

I have been on a lean toward Fat Quarters for some time with the occasional charm pack thrown in, but I am wanting to get my hands on a lot of jelly rolls and honey buns. I bought a book on jelly rolls and need to get buxy and make use of it.

Apr 5, 2011 at 10:11 AM Charms are my favorite precut to use. I love the fact that you can make a colorful quilt using everything in a collection. I've done this with several from Connecting Threads. I even talked my sister into making her valances using a base fabric and matching charm packs for a block trim. She is using you Canterbury collection. They are going to be beautiful.
