I was immediately interested in this book because I love photography, and because Marcia makes her art quilts look so fascinating. The process can be technically challenging, but once I read through the instructions, the projects seemed very do-able--even for a novice quilter such as myself. What I love most about making photo-art quilts is that it begins with your photograph, and your quilt will be like no other. I especially appreciate the technique for "polarizing your photograph into the color values". That way it's easier to see the four (or more) fabrics that you need to draft. If you like untraditional quilts then you will love Picture This!
