I certainly love red, white and blue as well as plaids, special weaves and images from nature. The chevron is especially a favorite as well. Crooked Trail reminded me of a forest setting, and a "not so deliberate" trail that seems to always recreate itself. Usually crooked, the path is determined by the terrain itself rarely being straight. Also, the peaks and valleys of the chevron design bring to mind hills and valleys difficultly traveled.
Connecting Threads flannel is so beautifully soft and lush; Big Sky Lodge aims to please. Combined with rich dark colors and interesting images, Crooked Trail will be a treasured gift. While seemingly challenging at first, this collection worked up the most wonderful projects.
Also, quite easily made, Crooked Trail is just large Flying Geese made with the easiest of processes, four in one no math method.
