I have a special fondness for the “Big T” block. I affectionately call it my “envelope” block because when colors are chosen carefully, the block is easily made to look like an envelope. This calls for specific gradation in color, and without it the effect is lost. Rhapsody of Reds has the selection needed to accomplish this.

Rhapsody of Reds provides a great deal of color gradation, and creating with it was a joy. Unexpectedly, when the two-color envelope blocks were placed together they created a lovely diamond design! Hence, the name Lacey Diamonds!
Rhapsody of Reds is a gorgeous collection of dazzling multi-shades of reds. Red is a favorite color but the combination of reds in this collection seem to glow. I hope you love working with these exquisite fabrics as much as I did designing with them!

Jan 24, 2013 at 1:31 PM Mari, it is so neat!!! My kit came on Monday and I've been having a good time looking at how it is made, etc.
Jan 17, 2013 at 12:44 PM Mine arrived 2 days ago. Can't wait to get started.
Jan 16, 2013 at 2:40 PM Mine is on it's way. Hmmm, originally I ordered this to get the black fabrics, but it just may get made into the 'intended' quilt after all is said and done. I do love, love, love these fabrics!
Jan 16, 2013 at 7:15 AM Love the pattern and the fabric! I'm definitely going to try this one. I've already ordered the fabric, it's so pretty.
