My 2-Hour Apron in Hello Sunshine

If there's one thing that I love, it's a really cute apron. For years now, I have been sewing aprons of all shapes and sizes for friends and family. As fate would have it, the same day that we got to select our Gifty Galore projects, I found out that a good friend of mine bought a new house. What better housewarming present than an apron that matches her new kitchen?

For the project, I selected one of our designer download patterns called 2 Hour Apron. The pattern is great because of how easy everything is! I also love that the finished product can be easily dressed up with a little ric-rac and some buttons. That said, it is cute without any dressing-up, too! Here's a picture of the apron right after I finished it. Forgive the horrible iPhone picture, my camera is getting worked on at the moment.

I used two prints from our Hello Sunshine collection: Whirl in the Meadow color and Windblown Dots in the Kelly color.

Because my friend likes a little bit of "flair" added to everything, I put on a few buttons and some ric-rac to make it even cuter! Here's a little peek at which buttons I selected.

When all was said and done, my friend loved her apron and reported to me the other day that she uses it all the time! Here's a picture of my lovely friend modeling it. Doesn't she look cute!?!

If you're looking for a quick, easy and fun project that you can make in a matter of 2-hours, but also that you can dress up, I highly recommend this one. The other thing about it that I love is that there are multiple size options to choose from. Now I can make aprons for the whole family!
