Mystery Quilt 2013 Quilt Along: Coming Soon!

To celebrate National Quilt Month in March, Connecting Threads will offer a Mystery Quilt 2013 Quilt Along. This is our first Mystery Quilt and promises to be lots of fun for all. We think you will enjoy making this quick and versatile, three-part pattern, suitable for beginning and experienced quilters. The catch is that you won’t know what the quilt looks like until Part 3!
Mark your calendars for Tuesday, February 12th! We will provide more details about the Mystery Quilt 2013 Quilt Along. A Fabric Selection PDF will be available to download so participants can choose fabrics and order in time for the first installment on Monday, March 4th.

Feb 5, 2013 at 11:04 AM Cathy, this would not be a good first quilt. Having said that, it is an instructional pattern. Each section is accompanied by detailed notes and photos for each step. Some of the piecing is very easy, some requires more precise work... but I provide many hints to help you be successful. I would say the quilt is for a confident beginner with experience sewing 1/4" seams. There are also related tutorials. Hope that helps...I'm sure others are wondering the same. I will give more details 2/12.

Be sure to check back on Tuesday, February 12th when all the details and a Fabric Selection handout out will be posted on Notions and Quilt with Us. Tell your friends or quilt guild...it is fun activity to do with others.
