Here at Connecting Threads, we love the holiday season! Our offices are decorated with shiny ornmanents, garland, and twinkling lights, and everyone's faces are smiling because Christmas is right around the corner.

One thing is certain, the Connecting Threads team is in the spirit of giving. We want to make someone's Christmas extra special this year, so we have partnered up with Arrow Cabinets and we're giving away a beautiful Sewnatra cabinet in your choice of White or Black!
Besides being a cute cabinet, the Sewnatra offers most of the features that the larger cabinets have, but in a convenient compact size. When the cabinet is closed, the shuttered door gives the cabinet a cottage look that doubles as a beautiful piece of home furniture. When opened, the cabinet offers ample sewing space and great storage. We love this piece!
Regularly priced at $479.99, and on sale right now for $409.99, the Sewnatra is our biggest giveaway prize of the year. Now, as I mentioned above, the CT team are fully immersed in the Christmas spirit, and we want to make sure that everyone has a chance to win. Unfortunately, the Sewnatra cabinet can only be shipped to folks in the contiguous United States, so Connecting Threads is also offering two $20 gift cards to residents of the United States and Canada.
To be entered to win, all you need to do is leave us a comment below telling us one of your quilting goals for the new year, and whether you would like to win the cabinet in a Black or White finish. We will pick our winners on Monday, December 24th - just in time for Christmas!
Rules: One entry per person. No purchase necessary. The cabinet giveaway applies only to residents of the contiguous US. The gift card giveaway applies only to residents of the US and Canada. Comments must be made before 11:59pm on Sunday, December 23rd. We will select our winners on Monday, December 24th and announce them shortly thereafter. Comments MUST be made on this blog post to be counted. Comments made on other blog entries will not be included for consideration. Comments placed on our Facebook page are valid and will be considered. Winners will be selected randomly. You must meet the comment criteria to win. Good luck!

Dec 24, 2012 at 5:44 AM My goal is to share the passion of quilting with my oldest daughter who absolutely loves all things hand or homemade. I would love to share in the spirit by presenting her with a white cabinet to put her sewing machine in and begin our adventures of sewing and quilting together.
Dec 23, 2012 at 8:02 PM I started quilting a year ago and got hooked. I have done some lap quilts for gifts and my goal is to finish numerous UFOs. I may have bit off more than I can chew because I am in three quilt groups. Some work/fun is done for personal use and some charitable. I am 68 years young and am really enjoying myself. I would love the black cabinet to go in our bedroom as our furniture is black and the cabinet is such a nice size. Congrats to the winner - hope it is me!!!
Dec 23, 2012 at 6:47 PM I have a big goal for 2013. First in line are 4 charity quilts to FMQ. then finish lots of UFO's and quilt another 10 tops that I have waiting. I think a lovely white cabinet with all the organization of it
would keep me on track for this year.
Dec 23, 2012 at 6:38 PM My goal for 20013 is to free-motion quilt 3 tops that I have finished for family members. I'm just getting good enough at FM quilting after having quilted for 4 yrs. now. My living room is my quilting studio and the white cabinet would look great.
Dec 23, 2012 at 5:56 PM My goal in 2013 hopefully is to get more organized & finish all the quilt kits I purchased from Connecting Threads. The sewing cabinet will definitely help to bring my chaos to an end. Thank you for the opportunity to win...would love the white cabinet.
Dec 23, 2012 at 5:11 PM Wow! This is so great for small homes and apartments. The white one is very light and helps make small spaces seem a bit less crowded. Living in a mobile home means that the sewing spaces are a bit spread out, taking much needed guest quarters. This would greatly help me to be more organized, to which my husband would say "Yay!"
Dec 23, 2012 at 5:10 PM I would love a white cabinet to incorporate in my sewing room. My goals for the new year is to complete some UFO's,try some applique methods and also volunteer more time making comfort quilts. It is so important to be organized and this cabinet would sure help me be more organized. Thank you for a wonderful web site and this amazing give away.

Dec 23, 2012 at 12:15 PM My goal for 2013 is to complete a queen size quilt for my husband. I have been making wall hangings because they are quicker. He wants a quilt for the bed and a new cabinet would make my sewing/organizing soooo much easier.
Dec 23, 2012 at 10:55 AM My goal for 2013 is to finish a queen sized quilt started earlier this year, this is my first attempt at sewing a large bed quilt. I'd like the black cabinet for organizing some of my quilting and sewing supplies. Thank you and Merry Christmas!
Dec 23, 2012 at 10:30 AM I love classes and new projects, my goal for 2013 is to finish an old project before I start on a new one since I cannot count my UFOs just on my fingers and toes!
Dec 23, 2012 at 7:11 AM My quilting goals for 2013, include several UFOs (UnFinished objects) as well as getting comfortable with machine quilting. The white cabinet would look great in my sewing corner.

Dec 23, 2012 at 5:19 AM My goals for 2013 are to be more organized and to complete as many of my unfinished projects as I can. The white cabinet would help out greatly with both of these efforts. I belong to a small group that does a number of projects for charitable causes, so I have a tendency to finish those first.
Dec 22, 2012 at 11:10 PM My quilting goals for 2013 are to finish all the projects that I started during 2012 but did not complete and to make an awesome baby quilt for my niece or nephew that will be born in May. I would love to have the white cabinet! I would make my holiday special and it would help keep me organized in the coming year.

Dec 22, 2012 at 9:10 PM My dearest and best friend passed away this summer and I (along with another friend) am working on finishing a quilt top she had started to show at a quilt show that she was chairing with her quilt guild. I think the white one would be perfect for my sewing room. I just finished a quilt she had started for her mother and will be giving it to her for Christmas. I miss her terribly.

Dec 22, 2012 at 2:18 PM My goal was to quilt when I retired. I am now retired and have started quilting bedspreads. They may not be 100% perfect, but I am not getting discouraged. The only problem I have is that my tools and stuff is scattered all over the place and that gets me frustrated. I would love to win this cabinet in brown so for once I can have all my things in one place.
Dec 22, 2012 at 2:13 PM I'm new to the electronics of sewing. Your sewing cabinet (in black) giveaway inspires me. I love the efficiency of the set up. I feel like I could sit down to do a quick project. Sewing would be calling me instead of mocking me!
Dec 22, 2012 at 1:50 PM My sewing room is my dining room table. Having the white cabinet would be a nice addition to my dining room. It would allow me to take my sewing machine off the table so my family can start using the table as it was originally intended for.

Dec 22, 2012 at 10:11 AM I've just found out that within the next couple of months my husband's mom will be coming to live with us. Dec 21, 2012 at 9:07 PM My goal this year, 2013, is to finish at least one of the quilts I've started, and to make up at least one quilt, that I have gathered all the fabrics for on a fun quilt hop. I'm learning how to paper piece, at a class I've signed up for. My past year has been filled with everything, but what I wanted to do. This is going to be my year, of fun and organinzing myself.
