Owl Pillow

WHO, WHO, WHO doesn’t just love a whimsical owl? I know I do, and from the moment I started making it, there was an argument about who was going to get it when I was finished-me, my sister, my daughter, Miss Sue, or as a gift. The Jury is still out on that one.
I chose to make the owl pillow from Curiosities & Mischief by Nancy Halvorsen because it’s super cute and I thought that it would make a great baby gift should a baby shower arise on the calendar. As for the adorable fabrics, they are from one of our newest collections, Home Front, that will be available September 11th (tomorrow online!). I wish I could take credit for them, but Miss Mari picked them out for me and she did a fabulous job!
The pattern was pretty easy and straight forward, however, I did have a little trouble with the instructions on the wings, but Miss Judy set me straight on those. I used my own instructions on those, but had I followed Nancy’s, all would have been hunky-dory.
