Here’s my September block. When I designed it I was thinking of last September where I spent it in Australia with my all my family there. We stayed at the beach that I spent many childhood vacations at. Mooloolaba (sounds the way it looks) Anyway that means I was thinking about endless sunny days, on golden sand, in warm crystal clear waters, catching waves and body surfing.
September is also my birthday month, so maybe the big S doesn’t stand for sun, sand, surf, swimming and sea, maybe it just stands for Sue! Or School, study and all the good things that come with that…The block is part of our Year in Stitches Quilt With Us, and I chose fabrics from our Quilter’s Candy. Enjoy!
