Sometimes it can be hard to get my personal projects done at home because I always end up getting sucked into sewing samples for the catalog! These Small Books were no exception. They were so cute in our Zippee fabric, I couldn't resist, and I love projects that are useful too.
The Mini Patchfolio is for me, so I can have some perky prints to look at taking notes during meetings at work. The Little Artist Drawing Case I made for my daughter to keep her busy in the car.
When I agreed to sew these for the catalog, I put off actually doing them for a long time bcause in my experience, projects like this can be so fiddly. As the deadline loomed and I finally did sew them up, I realized I was wrong! The well-written pattern makes it super simple and fun -- I had them both done in an afternoon.
