Super quick and easy fabric Christmas cards

Here are some Christmas cards I've made from the Merry Minis collection.  It was a perfect collection to use for these, and I just love how they turned out.

Want to make your own Christmas fabric cards? This is what I did:

Supplies:
Blank cardstock
Blank envelopes
Fun fabrics
Bias milliners tape (can also use ribbon, this is just what I had and I liked it, since it’s a little thinner than ribbon)

I cut my fabric ¼’ smaller than the size of the card.  I also cut the tape the width and length of the fabric swatch (plus ¼” to turn under at the ends).  I made the bows.  Then I went to sew.

I didn’t adhere the fabric to the cardstock, however I do recommend doing this, and I will too the next time I make them, only because the fabric does shift a bit and can lead to a little bit of puckering at the finished corner.  I sewed around the edge of the fabric swatch with a 1/8” seam allowance.  Then I sewed the tape down to form the ribbon of the package, and finally I tacked on the bow.  So simple!

Need to stock up on more Christmas fabric? Merry Minis and our other Christmas fabrics are 50-60% right now, and it's not too late to receive your order before Christmas!
