I happily reviewed Liesl Gibson's new book, Oliver + s Little Things to Sew when it came out (you can read my review here), so I was thrilled to hear that the publisher generously sent us three copies to give away on this blog. If you're already familiar with the Oliver + s patterns, you are probably skipping this to read about how to enter the contest already. :)

If you haven't heard of Oliver + s, read on...

Liesl Gibson's Oliver + s brand of children's patterns is not about oodles of ruffles and combining lots of different busy fabrics, like many children's patterns I see these days. Instead, her patterns are elegant and classic, with clean, simple silhouettes and timeless fabric choices. I think that makes them all the sweeter.

The patterns in the book act as a companion to the Oliver + s clothing patterns. They are cute and functional accessories and play things for active kiddos. I just love the quilt pattern too.

So clever!

If you would like to win a copy of this beautiful, hardback book, just a leave a comment telling me what little ones you sew for in your life (kids, grandkids, nieces/nephews, etc) and what kinds of kids patterns you like best. Contest closes at 11:59 pm on Sunday 3/20. I will draw three random winners on Monday morning (3/21/11).

RULES: One entry per person.  To be considered, your mailing address must be in the contiguous United States.  No purchase necessary.

I would love to have this book. I think the things pictured are fantastic. I have hopes of maybe making a little money with sewing things like this for others. We are getting by on one income with a teen and a 5 year old, so to be able to make a few bucks on the side would be great. Thanks for offering such great things as givaways.

I just adore Oliver + S, and my 5 year old twin girls both have a thing for cute, vintage-style clothing. The best part is that the twins are already learning to sew. This would be great to add to their very own pattern collection. We actually picked out fabrics today for the O+S "Pop over dress", one in pinks, one in blues!
