We want to thank everyone who participated in the Flying Geese x 4 giveaway; we got so many great responses! Using a random number generator, we have selected our three winners:
#20 - Dawn H
I have tried several methods for making flying geese; anxious to try another :) And, this quilt looks wonderful!!
#67 - Robin
I cut a large square and four smaller squares. First pin two to opposite
corners and sew edge to edge. Then cut the large square diagonally.
Then pin in the remaining corners and sew. Cut again. Result is four
pretty geese! Better instructions are in the 100 Blocks magazines.
That said, I would LOVE to try this ruler! Thanks for the opportunity.
#136 - Connie D
I have tried many methods but I usually resort to sewing through the
diagonal on overlapping corner squares and cutting off the corners (like
MaryEllen Hopkins snowball blocks are done). You waste a lot of little
triangles of fabric using this method. I would love to try this ruler.
I'm hoping it will make the process more accurate.
We have sent each of our winners an email requesting their mailing addresses. Once we hear back, we will ship out their prizes. Thanks again everyone!
