I am a quilter, and I left behind sewing dimensional projects long ago. When our (Connecting Threads) new books arrived I took a peek, which I rarely do anymore, and found this book among them. It intrigued me, that is, the interestingly odd shapes and designs.
I’m always on the hunt for a bag that keeps me organized, but looks quite attractive as well. Homemade handbags are lovely because they are one-of-a-kind. Just my style! This book has bags for everything from purses to working bags, backpacks, shopping bags and totes. It’s all here!
There are lots of lovely pictures to walk you through construction with a few “notes” here and there. I especially loved how all the text is spaced which gives lots of room for images and diagrams, and the instructions are very straight forward, no frills; just plain info to get you through each project. Along with the book is a CD with all the full-sized patterns! Now, it’s time to get busy!!!
