Fresh Cut Flowers is a cute little booklet with 6 fun projects. It combines two of my favorite things…hand embroidery and quilting! These projects are so adorable I want to make at least two of each, one to keep and one to give. I have my eye on the bird tea towels to start. The booklet includes directions for transferring the design to fabric as well as using crayons to color in your embroidery. While the project patterns and embroidery designs are beautiful in their simplicity and look perfect for a beginner, the booklet does not contain stitching instructions, so a true embroidery beginner may find this a bit frustrating. But only a few basic stitches are needed to complete these little cuties so don’t be afraid to give them a try.
