Charitable Donations of Fabric
We are more than happy to donate scrap fabric to 501(c)(3) charities with a tax ID number or IRS EIN number. The minimum donation is one 35 pound box of scrap fabric. You may request multiple boxes. Unfortunately we are not able to fulfill requests for specific fabric collections, custom cuts, or colors.
PLEASE NOTE: We are not able to make donations outside of the contiguous United States.
If you can travel to our warehouse in Columbus, OH, to pick up the donation, the scrap fabric will be donated at no cost to you. To arrange to pick up a donation at our warehouse in Columbus, OH, e-mail LeVontez at Fabrics@CraftsAmericana.com. He will respond to your request within two weeks.
If you are unable to pick up the donation, we can ship it to you if you cover the pre-calculated shipping charges. It costs $30/box for standard shipping via Smart Post. Sorry we can only ship to the contiguous U.S. We are not able to provide expedited shipping for scrap fabric donations.

Once you have submitted your form, give us a call at 1-800-574-6454 and ask to speak to a Senior Operator or Supervisor about a fabric donation request. The Supervisor will confirm that your paperwork has been received and process your payment for the shipping costs. We prefer credit or debit card payments, but we can accept checks. We are not able to bill you or provide invoices for shipping, all payments must be paid up front before we can ship the donation.
We are not able to donate tools, books, patterns, or other quilting supplies at this time; only fabric scraps.
If you are a quilting guild or group looking for donations for raffle prizes or goodie bag stuffers for an event, please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Your request must be submitted via email and you must provide a valid email address so that we can contact you with any questions. Please note that due to the extremely high volume of requests, we are not able to respond to every submission.
When submitting a request, please include the following information:
- Name of your quilting guild or group
- Date of your event
- Purpose of donation
- Quantity of items being requested
- Number of members in your group/guild
- Location of your event
- Valid email address so that we can contact you for further information, if needed
