Something doesn't seem quite right. How can I tell if the problem is with my sewing or your pattern? Okay, you've caught us. We try to make our patterns as perfect as we can, but sometimes we have an off day, and we make a mistake. There. We said it. And we're very sorry. To make it up to you we've provided corrections to some of Connecting Threads' free and exclusive patterns. The errata are sorted alphabetically by pattern name. Errata is such a fancy name for correction, don't you think?
This is a scrappy quilt that alternates red and white placements of A and B.
From all red and cream fabrics (except fabric 8) you will need to cut equal amounts from each to total:
- One hundred sixty 3-7/8” sqs cut once diagonally; and,
- Two hundred forty 1-7/8” x 4-3/4” rectangles.
The letter/number reference shown on the mini-blocks pages 3-4 are not accurate. Alternate red and cream fabrics for a scrappy look.

The Holiday Table Runner kit supplies 1-1/4 yards for Fabric 3. Only 1/4 yard is used to make the pieced top. Although it is not shown in the cutting instructions and suggestions on pages 2 and 3, the remaining 1 yard may be used for the backing.
Page 3 ~ Description for Step 1 under diagram should read - Make 3 A/C strip sets (not 4)
Page 3 Cutting Suggestions Fabric 1 ~ A pieces are pictured in the incorrect sizing. A is the same size as B.
Directions for Step 7 on page 4 should read:
Sew the Step 4 F/H units to the Step 6 E/G units in the combinations shown below (no change).
The changes are:
The first combination, with the Four-Patch on the left, should read Make 2.
The second combination, with the Four-Patch on the right, should read Make 4.
The third combination, with a Four-Patch on each end, remains Make 2.
