We all love to receive holiday mail from friends far and near. Celebrate the season with this merry quilt that doubles as a place to stash those special cards and letters. This quilt could easily be adapted to display wedding wishes or valentine love notes.
Fabric Requirements
- 1 yard dark green print for outer and inner borders
- 3/4 yard of red print for binding and middle border
- 5/8 yard of white print for middle border and border foundation
- 1/2 yard each of four coordinating medium green prints for the pieced background
- 1/2 yard each of eight coordinating prints for envelope B
- 3/8 yard each of six coordinating prints for envelope A
- 2 yards of white flannel to be used in place of batting for envelopes A and B
- 3 yards of fabric for backing
