Aphrodite takes center stage in this medallion-style quilt. Delicate floral designs surround her in the elegant Art Nouveau Romance print by RJR Fabrics. The combination of a dark, contrasting skinny border in green and the subtle setting squares in tan allow the Aphrodite medallion square to stand out. The Iris print repeats motifs in the Romance print setting off the Irish Chain as a soft lavender backdrop. The green print is repeated in the inner border providing a clear break before the outer border. The design is finished off with Berry Sprig binding, adding continuity between the Cross Country blocks and the final edge of the quilt.
