Make this sweet little quilt to welcome a new baby or for a wee one's birthday gift. "Old MacDonald Had a Farm" is the perfect song to accompany this quilt and when the child is old enough to learn the words, they'll delight in singing along with you as you point out each of the familiar baby animals. Add a hanging sleeve and this makes a wonderful wall hanging for the nursery or a child's room. Pattern includes full-size applique patterns to trace for all nine animal blocks. Designs may be fused or appliqued by hand if you prefer.

Fabric Requirements

• 1-1/8 yds tone-on-tone print for blocks and border corner squares
• Assorted scraps for animal appliques
• 1/4 yd each of pink, yellow and aqua for sashing strips
• 12" square red check or print for heart appliques on border corner squares
• 5/8 yd for the border
• 1/2 yd for binding
• 2-3/4 yds for the backing
