By simply cutting triangles in a bold fabric with a big repeat, you can create dynamic swirling patterns. This Eye of the Storm quilt uses the kaleidoscope technique to transform a floral print into something that looks like a churning wind gust, or a happily spinning pinwheel. This free pattern has detailed instructions that show you exactly where to cut your triangles in the pattern repeat. In the end, you piece together big blocks and each octagon has a unique and different design. You will have lots of fun sewing this table topper!
