This quilt is made by constructing 32" blocks. Each block requires one charm pack (27, 5" squares), one fat quarter and one yard of vintage white, making it easy to calculate yardage for an alternate quilt size. Fabric requirements shown below are for a four-block quilt.
Fabric Requirements
- 74" x 74" (Four Blocks with Borders)
- 110, 5" Charm Squares
- Vintage White - 4 yards
- Four Fat Quarters (Block corners)
- Inner Border - 3/8 yard
- Outer Border - 1-1/8 yard, OR . . . 1/3 yard cuts of four different fabrics (for border treatment as shown in quilt pictured)
- Backing - 4-1/2 yards
- Binding - 5/8 yard
