Machine Applique - Satin Stitch

This segment is focused on how to finish raw edges with a satin stitch, or a zig zag stitch.

Why Satin Stitch Appliqué? We use this form of appliqué on nearly all of the appliquéd quilts in our catalog because it's fast, but gives a beautiful clean finish. Thread? Needle size? This is another stitch that is not at all fussy. You could use any embellishment thread, like rayon, but we used Essential Thread and a standard sized sewing machine needle.
