One of my favorite quilts in Best of Fons & Porter: Easy Collection is The French Farmhouse, an Irish Chain quilt made with strip piecing and subtle values of cream and taupe. I like the way the offset pattern of the star blocks in Star-Spangled Beauty adds movement and visual interest. Jazzy Cats, with its large pieced musical notes, would be a great gift for a music teacher. Regardless of your skill level, Best of Fons & Porter: Easy Collection provides a useful repertoire of interesting and quick quilts which can read from traditional to modern depending on the fabrics you select!
