When I first saw this book, I knew I wanted to write a review of it. Peanuts – Quilted Celebrations by Kathleen Shea and forward by Jean Schulz (wife of the late Charles M. Shulz) features really adorable projects that reminds me of bits and pieces of childhood. Reading Charlie Brown comic strips was a delight because my grandmother actually went to high school with Charles Shulz in St. Paul, MN. The stories my grandma would tell about having this connection (small, but significant) brought a smile to her face. Sewing up a Charlie Brown quilted pillow would have been a lovely gift for my grandma! If you, or someone you love adores these Peanuts characters, they most certainly will appreciate a cute quilt as well.
