I’ve admired Kathy Schmitz’ style for many years now and this hand embroidery book is no exception. It’s filled with lots of ideas for holiday decorating and gift giving and now is the perfect time to start stitching!  There are 15 different projects including a pillow, needle book, and tea cozy, to name a few, but my favorite projects are the With Love Gift Tags and the Christmas Cheer Ornaments, both of which use embroidery floss cording you can make yourself following her tutorial.  Her warmly dressed snowmen are featured on several projects and are sure to warm hearts throughout the coldest winter season.  There is a section covering embroidery basics and while some of the projects look a bit more challenging than others there is nothing I'd be afraid to try.
