As the name might suggest this book is full of small pillows that can be grouped together and used to fill a bowl, box, or other decorative container, brightening up any spot in your home. Embroidery, wool appliqué, and buttons are used to embellish each pillow around different themes like home, bees, cabin, or woods. The group that appealed to me was the simple blackboard blessed group with the outline of words stitched on textured black fabric and then filled in with white gel pen to look like chalk on mini blackboards. These are a great way to use up small scraps and would be quick to finish, leaving you with a sense of accomplishment every time you looked at them.
